Many people are losing weight on the Special K Diet meal plan. By substituting two meals a day with Special K diet products, you can lose up to 6 lbs. in two weeks. The Special K website will create a customized meal plan for you based on lifestyle and food preferences. You can also join a Special K Yahoo! For your first meal of the day, you substitute your normal breakfast with a Special K product. You can choose a Special K cereal with 2/3 cup of skim milk or Special K waffles. If you eat the waffles, be sure to only use 2 tbs. of light syrup. Both the waffles and cereal come in a variety of flavors, such as Red Berries Waffles and Cinnamon Pecan Cereal. You can also enjoy fresh fruit with your breakfast, such as an apple or strawberries.
Replace your normal lunch with either another serving of cereal or a Special K protein meal bar. The meal bar comes in a variety of flavors so you can eat a different flavor each day. If you like white chocolate, try a strawberry meal bar. If you are craving chocolate, the chocolate peanut butter, chocolaty chip or double chocolate meal bars will satisfy your urge. Be sure to drink either skim milk or a low calorie drink. If you would like to eat a normal lunch, you can replace dinner with a bar or cereal instead of lunch.
Eat your usual dinner, but do not eat a dessert. You do not have to eat a low calorie meal for dinner. However, you should eat only until you are satisfied and not overeat. If you have eaten your normal meal for the day at lunch, you should eat either cereal or a meal bar for dinner. Make sure that you have a low calorie drink with dinner.
While you are on the meal plan, you are allowed two Special K snacks a day. Each of your snacks should be around 90 calories. You can choose a Special K Cereal Bar, Special K Bliss Bar, a Special K Grab/N Go Cereal Pack or a Special K Protein Water. There are also several flavors of Special K crackers available. You can eat 17 crackers for a snack. If you are craving chocolate, try a Bliss Bar in either raspberry or orange flavor. If you are going to be out for a long period of time, be sure to bring your Special K snacks with you.
