Easy Stuffing Recipe for Thanksgivingby Tiffany Silverberg
As creative as you'd like to get on Thanksgiving Day, families expect to see certain things on the table. Among the turkey, cranberry sauce and pies, the stuffing has a prominent place. Don't stress yourself out over this item, though. If your cooking schedule for the day is crammed, go for a stuffing recipe so easy your kids or partner can help.
Items you will need
- Olive oil
- 1 pound sausage
- Cutting board
- 1 cup celery
- 1 cup onions
- 1 cup applies
- 8 cups (or 1 package) breadcrumbs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 3 eggs
- Casserole dish
Pour some olive oil in the pan, set it on the stove on medium and sauté the sausage. Once it is thoroughly cooked, remove it from the pan and pour it into a bowl.
Chop the vegetables and apples into 1/2-inch pieces. Saute them in the pan. Once they are soft, dump them into the sausage bowl.
Mix the 8 cups of breadcrumbs in with the sausage.
Whisk together 1 cup of milk, 1 cup of chicken stock and three eggs. If you are using a breadcrumb package, use the liquid the box specifies.
Pour the liquid into the breadcrumb mixture.
Dump the whole mixture into the casserole dish. Spread it out and bake it for an hour in a 350-degree oven.
